		New Members: This is a place where you will learn about membership, how to become a member and why it is important. Learn more about the ins and outs and happenings around FBCC in this class. This class is scheduled on certain Sunday mornings and is taught by the FBCC staff.

		Worship: We believe that everyone in the church should be involved in worship. So, whether your interest lies in the choir, sound-media, the praise team, or just singing to Jesus with all your heart from the congregation, worship is for you!

		Prayer: FBCC invites you to take advantage of the many opportunities to join with others in the various prayer gatherings we offer. We also want to equip you to become more effective in your personal prayer life.

		Adult Bible Study: Bible study is essential for Spiritual growth. At FBCC Adult Bible study classes are designed to reach the lost and teach the believer. These classes are where friendships are formed and needs are met.

		Children’s Ministry: “from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you wisdom…” 2 Tim. 3:15 Nursery: At FBCC childcare is provided for birth through four years. Childcare is available for all services activities. This enables parents to attend both the worship service and Bible studies with confidence and assurance of a safe environment.

		Preschool: At FBCC, we love kids and their families! It is our goal to make sure that every Preschool child has a great time at church and goes home asking their parents “When can we go back?” Our staff works with our trained lay leaders to ensure that every service and ministry is the best it can be. We believe that preschoolers begin to learn about God and His love for us from their first years of life. Our goal is to teach children about our heavenly Father and Jesus, His son. We provide a safe, fun and age appropriate environment for every preschool child. Our teachers and leaders work with parents to make sure the physical needs of every child is taken care of while their parents enjoy Adult Bible Study and Worship. We offer classes for preschoolers during all of our worship services and Bible Studies.

		Elementary: Our goal at FBCC is to teach children about our heavenly Father and the love he has demonstrated to us through His son, Jesus. We want children to learn about God through study of His word, the Bible, in a safe, fun and age appropriate environment. Children also discover the joy of fellowship with other boys and girls who love our Lord and want to serve Him in their lives. We offer Sunday School, Children’s Church, TeamKID, summer activities, Vacation Bible School and so many other opportunities for these young people to worship. We are committed to sharing the gospel and see children become the next generation of Christian leaders.

		Youth Ministry: High school and Middle school: Our youth ministry is packed full of exciting activities. During the year our youth are engaged in ministering to others and learning about Christ. Winter and summer camps include mission opportunities and outreach to help the needy, hungry and hurting. In addition the FBCC youth have great times during Sunday morning and Sunday night Bible study, youth choir, band, and Wednesday night activities.

		College and Career: This group at FBCC is designed for people who are currently working and/or embarking on their career, college students and/or recent graduates – people who are single, dating, engaged, recently married or divorced. We recognize that maintaining close relationships with God and God’s family, and developing a network of Christian friends, are vital as you begin and continue in your careers, as you develop an adult lifestyle, and make important decisions about your future.

		Sunday Night / “DIG” Discipleship Is Growth: From the smallest to the oldest, Sunday nights offer a range of studies for everyone to be discipled. Children and adults will find a place to study, develop relationships, and learn the truth of God’s Word. This atmosphere of small group studies is designed to provide the growing Believer proper resources of discipleship, enabling them to understand the principles of Christianity and the urgency to reach a lost world.

		Senior Adult Ministry “Merrymakers”: Our Senior Adults 55 years old and older meet monthly for a fun-filled dinner followed by a program of interest to Senior Adults.

		Widowed Persons Support Group: is open to any widowed person in the community. The group meets monthly for a short meeting followed by a lunch outing.

		“Game Day” The Game Day ministry is a monthly event where the senior adults from FBCC and the community get together for a time of fun, food, fellowship and games.

		Women’s Ministry “WAVES” Women Achieving Victorious Excellence through Jesus the Son: The goal of this ministry is to see God transform the lives of women as they study His word, as they experience His power through prayer, and as they develop meaningful relationships with His people. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through women reaching other women. (Matthew 28:19-20 & Titus 2:3-5) In everything we do our desire is to please God and give glory unto Him. (I Corinthians 10:31b)

		Men’s Ministry: The purpose of the Men's Ministry of the First Baptist Church Cantonment, is to encourage men in their walk with the Lord, to create opportunities for men to develop vital friendships, personal integrity and profound Christ-Centered growth, to establish them in the faith, to equip them to evangelize the lost, and serve the Lord in Cantonment, Florida, and the World.

		Recreation: The philosophy under girding the Sports Ministry is that God’s ideal for us is to have our lives centered daily in the person of Jesus Christ. Thus our desire is to provide a distinctively Christ honoring atmosphere that will be conducive to good sportsmanship, healthy competition, and enhanced personal relationships. The Sports Ministry has several avenues for you to get involved: Sports ministry for adults: softball and flag football. Sports ministry for children: t-ball, and coach pitch baseball.

		Missions: The saving grace of Jesus Christ has the power to change the life of every person who hears it, believes it, and accepts it. We at FBCC accept the high calling of responsibility to carry that message to as many people as possible. FBCC is a Great Commission focused church. The Great Commission can be found in Matthew 28:18-20—“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” This passage mandates that all followers of Jesus Christ are to be involved in taking the Good News of the Gospel throughout the world.

		Disaster Relief: Members of FBCC are trained by the Florida Baptist Convention as disaster relief volunteers to respond to serve others in the name of Jesus Christ. This is done by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of individuals and communities suffering in times of disaster in the United States and around the world. This disaster relief assistance is provided to victims and communities free of charge.

		Outreach: GROW is an outreach to people who are not currently members at FBCC. GROW (God Rewards Our Work) is a comprehensive outreach program designed to carry out the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19 by touching the lives of people in our community. FBCC members are asked to commit to just one evening a month to outreach... with several different avenues of outreach from which they can choose. Our desire is to help equip our church members in every way to share their faith. We, as members, need to prayerfully consider participating in this vital ministry to reach our community.
